The thriller Open House is the directing debut of Andrew Paquin, brother of Anna Paquin and both Anna and Stephen Moyer can be seen in the movie. The DVD and Blu-Ray will hit the shelves on August 3 in the United States.
Open House tells the story of a couple on the brink of divorce attempts to sell their house on their own, they discover that one of their potential buyers isn’t apt to leave. The unwanted guest begins torturing the couple from their basement, and it seems they have little hope of getting out of their marriage and their home alive.

It’s always fun to spot a favorite stage actor in the movies or on TV. And in the case of HBO’s hit vampire series True Blood, stage vets are everywhere! Given the fact that show creator Alan Ball began his career as a playwright, it’s not really surprising that so many theatrically trained performers have taken up residence in the Bon Temps bayou—and in this new feature, we’ve gathered production shots of 10 vamps and shape-shifters (and the people who love them) as we enjoy seeing them: live and on stage!

Anna Paquin
You know that True Blood’s fearless heroine Sookie Stackhouse was one of the youngest Oscar winners ever in real life (for 1993’s The Piano). But Anna Paquin is also a skilled stage actress, as she proved in a Drama Desk Award-nominated off-Broadway debut as a baby-faced serial killer in 2001’s “The Glory of Living” (pictured above, with Jeffrey Donovan). She went on to co-star in Neil LaBute’s “The Distance from Here” and was terrific opposite former flame Kieran Culkin in “After Ashley.”

“Bill is her first love,” Anna says of her character Sookie. “Regardless of how much trauma there’s been, they have a really intense connection. But she has rather active fantasies about Eric …”

My actual first update brings you with Anna pictures at 2010 Comic-Con, and also the awesome pictures at True Blood press conference, earlier this month.
I just want to remember you that our gallery is completely tag-free and will remain like this. We do not own any of this pictures, so there’s no reason to ‘fansite tag’ on it.
Enjoy the new pictures and come back later for more gallery updates.

Hello! My name is Luciana and I’m the new owner of Anna Paquin Fan. You may know me from my other site, specially the ones dedicated to Anna’s “True Blood” co-stars Alexander Skarsgard and Deborah Ann Woll. I will try and get the site up to date as quick as possible.
I started by putting back this gorgeous layout Mandy used to celebrate the True Blood 3rd season. It was online for only a weekend, and it deserves to be online for more time.
Please get back, there’s a lot of Comic-Con and True Blood related updates to do. :)
Apologies in adding these so late, but just added HQ candids of Anna on the set of True Blood from last week, where she was filming the finale in Los Angeles.

Anna Paquin, star of the adult-oriented HBO vampire series True Blood, says she’s never watched the Twilight Saga films.
“I’m sure if I was a teenager, I’d probably love it,” Paquin, 27, told Self magazine recently. “It’s all about age-appropriate entertainment – the values and morals and the whole idea of chastity and all that. There’s plenty of time for people to watch us sucking and screwing and doing all this nefarious stuff with each other on True Blood.”
Paquin, who plays heroine Sookie Stackhouse in True Blood, added that kissing real-life fiance and series co-star Stephen Moyer was “Sharp. Dangerous. Those things are actually really expensive and quite fragile! They are not toys.”
The fake blood they use in True Blood, she said, was disgusting.
“The actual blood makes me want to gag!” she said. “It’s some kind of sweet corn syrup. They try to make it taste relatively good-flavored, but there’s an aftertaste that’s less than pleasant after the tenth take. In season one, they asked me if I wanted sugar or sugar-free. I was like, ‘Sugar-free blood? Sounds great!’ Big mistake. Because then it only tastes like the latex plastic tubes it’s coming through.”
The Twilight Saga features Kristen Stewart as the mortal Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as her love, the vampire Edward Cullen. The third Twilight film, Eclipse, opens on June 30 and its Los Angeles premiere is set to take place on Thursday.
